Remote Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will work on enhancing and streamlining user experiences by creating intuitive, efficient, and delightful interactions.
• Responsibilities include optimizing the user journey, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders, and integrating third-party software seamlessly.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in building scalable systems, prioritizing impactful deliverables, and providing guidance on infrastructure direction.

• Desired skills include 6+ years of software development experience, proficiency in Vue.js and Typescript, AWS and CI/CD automation experience, system design knowledge, and relational database experience.
• Additional qualifications involve integrating 3rd party APIs, writing tests, shipping code multiple times per day, technical leadership, and strong communication skills.
• Nice-to-have skills include experience with Golang or similar languages, working with third-party tools, observability tools, and knowledge of the retail domain.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years experience with Vue.js and Typescript.
• AWS and CI/CD automation experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience in building scalable distributed systems in a cloud environment.
• Proficiency in relational databases like MySql.
• Ability to integrate 3rd party APIs and write various types of tests.
• Comfortable with frequent code deployments and strong technical leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
