Remote Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Electron App)

Description:

• Cresta, a Silicon Valley company, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to enhance Web and Desktop experiences through AI-driven solutions.
• Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the ideal candidate will play a significant role in the Cresta app engineering team.
• Responsibilities include working with product and engineering teams, optimizing app framework design, and contributing to building a best-in-class product and company.
• The role involves staying close to customers, analyzing technical tradeoffs, and owning customer-facing deliverables.
• The candidate will demonstrate engineering best practices, grow into technical ownership, and uphold high standards in deliverables and daily work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in relevant domains.
• Proficiency in Electron based application development.
• Proficiency in designing and maintaining a clear desktop app architecture.
• Ability to navigate complex customer/business requirements and fulfill them with app updates.
• Experience in Windows operating system and its development environment.
• Experience in full life cycles of desktop apps, including architecture design, feature implementation, release management, system migration, etc.
• Experience in designing and maintaining clear and robust REST API.
• Experience with one of the major VDI software providers.
