The Senior Software Engineer will focus on the Ecommerce product and platform, collaborating with engineers.
This role requires expertise in Typescript, React, and a solid understanding of Rails.
Responsibilities include designing and building scalable technical solutions, guiding product quality, leading complex projects, reviewing code, diagnosing performance issues, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with UX and PM partners.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience in front-end best practices within React and the ability to create beautiful UI/UX flows.
Expertise in CSS and responsive design is required.
A strong understanding of backend server languages, including Ruby/Rails and Node.js, is necessary.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases and distributed systems is essential.
Candidates should have experience designing scalable data models and a pride in writing clean, tested, and organized code.
A self-starter attitude and the ability to work proactively without constant direction are important.
Quick learning abilities for new frameworks and technologies are required.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
Candidates should have 8+ years of related experience.
Experience in large scale enterprise systems and ecommerce applications is a bonus.

The starting salary for this position is targeted at $165,000, with flexibility based on candidate qualifications.
