Remote Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Description:

• As a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) at Sanity.io, you will be part of the team responsible for building out processes and infrastructure for a new feature on the Sanity platform.
• Your role will involve creating core user experiences and enhancing editorial teams' experiences by implementing delightful user interfaces.
• You will work on real-time collaboration features, performance optimization, learning from the community, and continuously improving the product.
• Technologies you will work with include React, state management, core web concepts, TypeScript, and unit testing.
• Knowledge of automated browser testing and accessibility is a bonus but not a requirement.
• You are expected to be compassionate, pragmatic, conscious about code quality, and able to collaborate effectively with different team members.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in React, including knowledge of useState, useEffect, React developer tools, and state management techniques like Redux.
• Understanding of core web concepts such as HTTP requests, event loop, promises, browser APIs, and module systems like Webpack, Vite, and Rollup.
• Familiarity with TypeScript basics, interfaces, types, and unit testing frameworks like Jest.
• Experience with automated browser testing tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Puppeteer is a plus.
• Knowledge of accessibility principles and guidelines is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills, pragmatism, code quality awareness, and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse team members.
