Description:

  • Braze is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Frontend Infrastructure & Experience team in São Paulo.
  • The team's missions include building high-quality client-facing UIs, a design system, component library, and frontend testing infrastructure.
  • Responsibilities include building features, tools, and components like a type-safe system for internationalized strings, search features, date picker components, and end-to-end testing systems.
  • The stack includes TypeScript, React, and Ruby on Rails.
  • The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, expertise in modern frontend languages and frameworks, backend development experience, a user-centric attitude, and a focus on UX.
  • Bonus experience includes building design systems, localization, accessibility, frontend testing frameworks, automated code transformation tooling, and Ruby on Rails.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a strong track record of success.
  • Mastery in modern frontend languages and frameworks like TypeScript, React, ES6, Vue, Angular, etc.
  • Experience with backend development.
  • User-centric attitude and care deeply about UX.
  • Ability to write elegant, maintainable code.
  • Comfortable working in a large frontend codebase with many stakeholders.
  • Bonus experience in building design systems and component libraries, localization, accessibility, frontend testing frameworks, automated code transformation tooling, and Ruby on Rails.
