The Content Solutions Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the Acquia DAM and PIM product line, used by over 800 customers worldwide.
The Senior Front End Software Engineer will implement modern, user-centric applications in a fast-paced software environment.
The role involves writing quality, maintainable code using front-end best practices, participating in code reviews, and engaging in the agile development process.
The engineer will work closely with the User Experience team to ensure technical feasibility and visual consistency, and contribute to a shared component pattern library.
The technology stack includes React, Typescript, GitHub, Java, Groovy, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, AWS, Slack, and JIRA.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
Excellent skills in HTML5 and CSS are required, along with experience in React.JS and a solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and Typescript.
Proficiency with frontend tooling and the build process, including builds (webpack), linting, deployment, and testing is necessary.
Experience in architecting modular components for code reuse and writing unit tests, as well as contributing to automated tests using Jest and Playwright is essential.
Candidates should have experience working with RESTful APIs in a containerized microservice ecosystem and be familiar with Git.
A strong ability to develop responsive, cross-browser compatible, and performant code is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment are necessary.
Candidates should be able to participate in architecture discussions and empathize with users to create accessible, inclusive experiences.
