Remote Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) - Pharmacy

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) at Henry Meds will be responsible for owning existing frontend services and guiding the development of new features and functionality.
• They will design and evaluate frontend technologies to meet development objectives effectively and support multiple internal applications and teams in a fast-paced, high trust environment.
• The role involves conducting integrations with 3rd party services, collaborating across teams and departments to ensure business objectives are achieved, and improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• The engineer will work on an autonomous, collaborative, high-impact team that drives initiatives to completion and proactively test feature components for stability upon release.
• They will execute full lifecycle software development, mentor and guide other developers, and learn and understand how Henry Meds works to help build end-to-end solutions.
• The position also involves learning and growing from working with great colleagues and taking on challenges.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience building successful production software systems.
• Expertise in Typescript, JavaScript, MUI or similar, NodeJS, React, Redux, GraphQL or Rest APIs.
• Proficiency in unit testing with Jest, Vitest, Mocha, or similar tools.
• Experience working within a startup environment, with a bonus for telehealth experience.
• Familiarity with end-to-end deployment including CI/CD pipelines and unit testing.
• Ability to create meaningful partnerships between product, marketing, and customer experience teams.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
• Passion for development and problem-solving skills.
• Nice to have experience with development tools like Hasura Console, GCP, and Kameleon.
• Nice to have experience with Eventing systems, Datadog, Python, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub, AWS SQS, HIPPA/HL7.
• Nice to have experience with monitoring systems like Datadog, CI/CD, .Net/C#, analytics, A/B testing, feature flags.
• Nice to have experience with Design and Project Management tools such as Figma, Atlassian, and Gather.
