Description:

Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Frontend Platform team, which focuses on enabling efficient product development for customers.
The role involves tackling challenging front-end and full-stack projects that have a significant impact across the company.
Responsibilities include leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders, improving and maintaining the internal GraphQL API, and setting best practices across the organization.
The engineer will set the direction for the frontend testing strategy, build and maintain frontend testing infrastructure, and enhance frontend build tooling.
Ensuring robust frontend monitoring and application performance is crucial, along with advocating for product quality and collaborating with product engineering teams on web performance issues.

Requirements:

Candidates should have an interest in learning about security or prior experience in the field.
Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects is required.
Applicants must have experience with frontend infrastructure challenges related to scale, reliability, or performance.
Proficiency in writing codemods and familiarity with infrastructure as code is necessary.
Experience with GraphQL, Typescript, and React is essential, along with familiarity with frontend technologies/libraries such as Webpack, Parcel, Mocha, and Jest.
Candidates should have worked on technical initiatives aimed at web performance, product platform, frontend infrastructure, or developer productivity.

The base pay range for this position is $163,000 - $223,000, with potential eligibility for commissions/bonuses, equity, and other company perks.
