Remote Senior Software Engineer - Frontend (Remote)

• EFG (ESL FACEIT Group) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Frontend to join their team remotely in London, England.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience building large-scale applications using React, Redux, and Next.js.
• A good demonstrable experience with TypeScript is required.
• Knowledge of a React testing framework is necessary.
• Experience with WebSockets and real-time messaging is essential.
• A desire to learn new technologies and frameworks is expected.
• Previous experience working on large complex applications is required.
• A passion for video games and esports is considered a plus.
• Additional preferred qualifications include experience with Webpack, attention to code quality and readability, and knowledge of optimization strategies such as code splitting, lazy loading, and caching.
• Extensive experience with best practices in testing, including unit tests and end-to-end testing, is desired.
• Familiarity with web best practices and Web Vitals metrics is important.
• Experience with internationalization libraries like react-intl or react-i18next is a plus.
• Familiarity with monorepo tools such as Nx, Lerna, or Turborepo is beneficial.
• Previous experience with scalable architecture serving thousands to millions of users is advantageous.
• Development with security awareness, particularly knowledge of the top ten OWASP attack vectors, is required.
