Remote Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Remote, US)

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) at Renew Home will be responsible for designing and implementing functional software solutions for web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and lead operational and technical projects.
• Develop rich, responsive, and accessible user experiences using technologies like TypeScript, React, Remix, NX, and modern CSS.
• Work on backend APIs using Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS technologies to support user-facing experiences.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user experience.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to maintain high-quality standards.
• Participate in agile practices including daily stand-ups, code reviews, and team meetings.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of industry experience in building web applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, CSS, and web design principles.
• Experience with server-side rendering, Git, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Ability to build and maintain scalable APIs, work with REST frameworks, and SQL.
• Familiarity with web accessibility and problem-solving skills.
