Description:

  • Webflow is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to develop next-generation tools for enhancing site discoverability through modern search engines and AI tools.
  • This is a full-time, permanent, remote position available to candidates in the United States and parts of Canada.
  • The role involves writing performant and accessible User Interfaces that enhance the Webflow visual design experience.
  • Candidates will work with technologies such as React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Responsibilities include leading projects, producing high-quality code, collaborating with product managers and designers, and mentoring junior engineers.
  • The position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager, Site Discovery.
  • The cash compensation varies by geographic location, with specific pay zones outlined for the U.S. and Canada.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Frontend/UI engineer with a proven track record of shipping code.
  • Proficiency in advanced React and CSS patterns is required.
  • A deep understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript is essential.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Playwright, or Cypress is necessary.
  • Candidates should prioritize web accessibility in their work.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional team environment is important.
  • Familiarity with principles of Search Engine Optimization and digital asset management technologies is required.
  • Interest in integrating generative or analytical AI systems with traditional discoverability workflows is preferred.
