Description:

Automox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Frontend development using Vue.js to join their remote team in the United States or Ontario.
The role involves working on a small Agile team, contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle from ideation to maintenance and bug fixing.
Responsibilities include writing performant, testable, and maintainable code that integrates with a RESTful API to enhance user experience.
The engineer will collaborate with UX Engineers and Designers to translate visual designs into functional code.
The position requires early and frequent collaboration with Product and Design teams to shape the product for customer satisfaction.
The engineer will contribute to the frontend architecture, enabling modular functionality in the UI while maintaining consistency in customer experience and codebase.
Ensuring code quality is essential, starting from designing testable code to implementing unit and integration tests as part of the definition of done.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of frontend development experience using the Vue (Vue 3) framework in enterprise-level applications.
Experience in developing highly responsive enterprise-level single-page applications is required.
Proficiency in writing Javascript, Typescript, HTML5, and CSS (SCSS) is necessary.
A solid understanding of computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and design patterns, and their impact on web application performance and scalability is essential.
Familiarity with modern build and testing tools such as Vite, Vitest, and Cypress is required.
Experience in developing reusable NPM modules is necessary.
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, debugging, troubleshooting, and agile development is required.
Candidates should have a passion for solving customer problems using technology and experience working with fast-moving cross-functional teams.
The ability to break down complex functionality into simple technical designs is essential.
