Remote Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Description:

• We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack to enhance our analytics platform, focusing on performance optimization, security, and scalability.
• The role involves refining our analytics engine to derive nuanced insights from patient records using proprietary tools and advanced statistical methods.
• You will streamline recurring calculations and improve data transmission and storage methods to support in-depth analysis throughout our analytics pipeline.
• The position requires improving our architecture to make it more maintainable, testable, and cost-effective.
• You will also be responsible for developing and integrating a regression testing framework into our analytics stack to ensure robustness and reliability.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 8-12 years of full-stack development experience, particularly in backend and cloud-based solutions.
• Expertise in Python and experience with Node.js for AWS Lambda functions are required.
• A strong familiarity with React is necessary.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Amplify, Cognito, Step Functions, and CDK is essential.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools like AirFlow and dbt is required.
• Knowledge of database technologies, specifically Postgres and DynamoDB, along with familiarity with Snowflake, is important.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment are essential.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills are necessary.
• Experience in the health tech domain, especially in hospital billing systems, is highly advantageous.
