As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will work in a collaborative team to build and enhance the mobile commerce platform.
You will have end-to-end ownership of projects, from ideation to deployment, impacting customers directly.
The role emphasizes rapid iteration, with engineers expected to ship code daily in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
You will drive innovation while ensuring accountability and transparency, providing regular progress updates to the team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about code quality and best practices, capable of translating business requirements into production-ready solutions.
You will help shape the next generation of products at Tapcart, including marketing tools, developer tools, and generative AI tools.
Requirements:
You must have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience in React, React Native, Next.js, and full-stack development in a JavaScript/TypeScript stack.
Strong web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and Accessibility, are required, along with a track record of building beautiful UI for production applications.
You should demonstrate the ability to architect complex full-stack solutions and obtain buy-in from stakeholders.
Extensive experience in defining API schemas for mobile and web applications and managing changes over time is necessary.
Strong experience in system architecture design, application development (both mobile and web), and DevOps practices tailored for mobile and web deployments is required.
Expertise with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is essential, particularly in services relevant to mobile application deployment and management.
You must have strong proficiency in mobile development best practices, including performance optimization, offline data management, and platform-specific considerations.
Bonus points if you have experience with Shopify Storefront/Admin API frameworks.
