Description:

LMArena is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Product Engineer to lead the technical design and development of AI-focused products across their platform.
The engineer will be responsible for owning features end-to-end, which includes proposing technical approaches, implementing core product flows, deploying new functionality, and tracking its impact.
The role is ideal for someone with proven experience in building reliable business logic at scale and who is excited to shape how people interact with cutting-edge AI models.
Responsibilities include expanding data structures and business logic to support new features, visualizing feature performance and usage metrics through internal tooling and dashboards, owning the full feature lifecycle from technical scoping to deployment and iteration based on insights, identifying and advocating for process improvements in development, testing, and deployment, and experimenting with new tools and frameworks to enhance productivity and product capabilities.
LMArena is an open platform created by researchers from UC Berkeley’s SkyLab, allowing easy access, exploration, and interaction with leading AI models.
The platform is trusted by organizations like Google, OpenAI, Meta, and xAI, and is rapidly becoming essential infrastructure for transparent, human-centered AI evaluation at scale.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on full-stack or backend product development.
A deep knowledge of SQL and managing databases at scale is required.
Familiarity with testing practices and tools like Vitest or similar testing frameworks is necessary.
Candidates should be clear communicators and strong collaborators across design, product, and engineering teams.
Bonus points for having PowerUser Experience with Supabase or Vercel's AI SDK.

The position offers a salary range of $210k - $231k plus equity, with actual compensation depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and candidate location.
