Remote Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Description:

• Xometry is seeking a senior full stack software engineer to join their software engineering organization in Greater Rio de Janeiro.
• The role involves working with a skilled team to enhance the instant-quote product and its technology platform.
• Responsibilities include technology and software design leadership, coding in HTML, Typescript/Javascript/React, Python, and Rust, collaborating with engineers and product managers, operational responsibility for services, and working in a growth-supportive environment.
• This is a 1-year contract position.

Requirements:

• The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience as a software developer in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Demonstrable understanding of software engineering fundamentals is required.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, DOM web programming is necessary.
• Proficiency in at least two of React, Python, and Rust is required.
• Experience with security, scalability, asynchronous programming, and transactions is essential.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architectures and databases (relational and/or NoSQL) is desired.
• Attention to detail, good work ethic, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and good communication skills are required.
