Remote Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Description:

• Aurora Solar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack to join their remote-first team dedicated to solar energy solutions.
• The role involves enhancing the integration of CAD technologies with the Aurora Cloud Platform, focusing on FullStack and Backend technologies.
• Responsibilities include deploying best practices in software development, enhancing Ruby-on-Rails backend applications, creating new services on AWS, maintaining Web APIs, optimizing FE-BE interfaces, mentoring teammates, and taking operational responsibility for team-owned services.
• The CAD team specializes in GIS data, CAD 3D modeling, visualization, and simulation cloud-compute engines, significantly impacting customer experience and revenue.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have working experience as a Full Stack developer.
• Expertise in the latest C++ is required.
• Experience with Javascript and/or Typescript is necessary.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems, CI/CD, and automated testing is essential.
• Candidates should be self-motivated, possess good communication skills, prioritize team results, and be comfortable with ambiguity.
• Nice to have skills include proficiency with Ruby-on-Rails, React, cloud monitoring services like Datadog, data fetching frameworks like GraphQL, async job frameworks like Sidekiq, and browser-based 3D visualization technologies such as WebGL and three.js.
