Remote Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Description:

• Floma is the world’s first AI marketing agency, redefining marketing with AI and creating AI agents for managing marketing campaigns.

• The role involves scoping, architecting, building, and shipping critical product features while owning large new areas within the product.
• The engineer will assist in planning the product roadmap and prioritize development in partnership with early customers and design partners.
• The position reports directly to the CTO and co-founder as part of a small and agile team.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor, Masters, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
• A strong technical background with 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer and proficiency in React or other MVC frameworks is necessary.
• Strong working experience in Python is preferred, but proficiency in Go, Java, or NodeJS will also be considered.
• Experience in consuming and designing RESTful APIs and knowledge of standard methodologies in API design is required.
• Strong proficiency in SQL or NoSQL databases is necessary.
• Basic experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, etc.) and experience with build and deployment systems like Docker and Kubernetes is required.
• Strong knowledge in HTTP and WebSockets is necessary, with additional knowledge of HTTP/2 and/or gRPC being a plus.
• Prior experience in building no-code or low-code website builders and large-scale real-time collaboration or distributed systems is a plus.
• Candidates should be excited about entrepreneurship, have a continuous learning mindset, and possess strong communication skills to distill complex technical concepts.
