Remote Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Description:

• TextUs is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to assist in the development of their applications.
• The ideal candidate should have recent experience in developing web applications, reviewing documentation, identifying gaps, implementing features, reviewing code, collaborating with team members, and ensuring work is covered by automated tests.
• They should be willing to challenge existing team processes, proficient in writing documentation, experienced with software design patterns, Ruby on Rails, React, and Git/GitHub.
• The candidate should be excited to understand customers, mentor fellow developers, be collaborative, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and maintain CI/CD tooling.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, React, Typescript, Material UI, Postgres, ElasticSearch, ActiveJob, AWS SQS, cloud computing providers, and infrastructure as code tooling is preferred.

Requirements:

• Recent experience developing production web applications in a professional environment.
• Proficiency in software design patterns, Ruby on Rails, React, and Git/GitHub.
• Ability to review documentation, identify gaps, implement features, review code, collaborate with team members, and ensure work is covered by automated tests.
• Willingness to challenge existing team processes, write documentation, mentor developers, and maintain CI/CD tooling.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, React, Typescript, Material UI, Postgres, ElasticSearch, ActiveJob, AWS SQS, cloud computing providers, and infrastructure as code tooling.
