Description:
Education Perfect is an EdTech platform aimed at empowering educators and enhancing their impact in the classroom.
The company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to drive the development of new product areas and provide technical leadership within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
In this role, the engineer will develop secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud services using technologies such as C#, Kafka, Terraform, TypeScript, and React.
The engineer will create new customer value in small increments, delivered continuously to production.
The position involves working closely with product managers and designers to solve open-ended customer problems.
Collaboration across teams on larger initiatives, technical improvements, and production operations is expected.
The engineer will also mentor and support other engineers while fostering a safe and inclusive environment for the team.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and operating cloud software at scale.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
The ability to collaborate effectively in flat, cross-functional teams is essential.
Candidates should be able to make informed decisions based on team goals, domain knowledge, and sound engineering fundamentals.
The ability to manage risk, ambiguity, and dependencies is necessary.
A growth mindset and a keen sense of ownership are important traits for this role.
Experience working with distributed teams in global engineering organizations is preferred.
