Description:
As a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack, you will enhance our core platform and message orchestration platform to enable customer engagement through conversational messaging.
You will set the bar for the maintainability and performance of our systems as a technical leader.
The role offers autonomy to solve difficult technical problems and grow professionally, with a direct impact on customers and Postscript’s bottom line.
Engineers at Postscript have a high impact through project leadership, technical expertise, and decision-making.
You will guide your team in balancing technical constraints and business priorities to deliver customer value.
The current tech stack includes React/Typescript, Python (Flask), Go, and AWS-managed architecture.
You will architect and build highly available, extensible, and scalable platform primitives and REST APIs for both external and internal customers.
The position requires taking ownership of solutions to deliver excellent products, contributing to team health through feedback, and guiding optimal technical and product design decisions.
You will identify and execute on points of scale to maximize throughput and efficiency, mentor other engineers, and communicate transparently about project scope and risk management.
This position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates in ET/CT time zones.
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience is required.
You must have a proven career as a software engineer developing backend applications, services, and APIs, with hands-on experience using Typescript/Node.js or similar technologies.
Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining applications on AWS is essential.
You should have expertise in NoSQL and SQL, along with experience in database modeling (MongoDB, Postgres).
The role requires experience in building modular, flexible architectures that maximize readability and extensibility.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Experience in building great products, particularly in high growth, early-stage tech environments, is preferred.
You should have experience coaching and mentoring engineers.

The salary range for this position is USD $170,000-$200,000 base plus significant equity, with no geo-based salary adjustments.
