Description:
The Senior Software Engineer at Qualified will be part of the Product Team, focusing on developing customer-centric applications and enhancing existing products with AI technologies.
Responsibilities include building new features, integrating LLMs and other AI technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting rapid prototyping, ensuring core functionality stability, and continuously improving technical skills.
The role involves mentoring other engineers, setting engineering standards, and supporting highly-available services for customers' critical needs.
The team works with technologies like Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, React.js, and AWS to develop real-time AI-powered solutions for customers.
Requirements:
5+ years of full-stack software development experience with a recent focus on AI/ML technologies.
Proficiency in modern web application components, programming languages like Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, or Go, and object-oriented programming.
Experience with large-scale, low-latency systems, frontier-scale LLMs, SQL, RDBMS (preferably PostgreSQL), and data warehousing solutions.
Strong software engineering practices, including coding, unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Advanced proficiency in English, passion for innovative solutions, curiosity in applied AI, and experience with Agile methodologies.
