Remote Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Consumer Pricing)

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the Consumer Pricing team at Affirm, responsible for developing and maintaining critical services and platforms essential to the company's success.
• Projects include redesigning pricing data models for scalability and creating platforms for experimenting with pricing configurations.
• The role focuses on enabling robust, scalable, and timely price management for Affirm products across different locations.
• Responsibilities include building, optimizing, and scaling Pricing tools and user interfaces, maintaining pricing data services, and designing reliable and scalable software systems.
• Collaboration with Product Management and Engineering teams to define and deliver product and technical roadmaps is essential.
• The role involves evangelizing software development best practices, leading by example to establish a collaborative work environment, and facilitating technical discussions to improve software quality.

Requirements:

• Fluent in frontend and full stack development.
• Proficiency in Javascript, React, CSS, Python, or similar programming languages, and MySQL.
• Experience in architecting, building, launching, and maintaining complex software systems.
• Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience in startup environments or financial systems (Bank, Treasury, Payments, Trading, Portfolio Management) is a plus.
