Description:
LivePerson is the global leader in enterprise conversations, providing a Conversational Cloud platform used by leading brands to connect with consumers.
The Conversational Cloud Core team is responsible for designing and implementing the core of the messaging ecosystem, consisting of 60 engineers globally.
The company is seeking a full stack Senior Software Developer to enhance and simplify customer engagement through messaging.
Responsibilities include building a platform for real-time monitoring, designing high-volume applications, creating backend services using Java and Node.js, optimizing frontend applications, developing technical specifications, and debugging production issues.
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development engineering is required.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proficiency in Java, Node.js, and frontend development is necessary.
Experience with Git, Jenkins, and other development tools is required.
Candidates should have experience in debugging/testing applications and building RESTful microservices.
Familiarity with basic DevOps tasks for deploying applications in development/test environments is expected.
Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is a plus.
Knowledge of Kubernetes is preferred.
Willingness to participate in paid on-call duty is required, in alignment with the "You Build It, You Run It" philosophy.
A strong sense of quality, personal responsibility, and a passion for development is essential.
