Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will work in a full-stack capacity, contributing to the development of high-quality systems at scale for small business owners.
• The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product and Design, to tackle exciting business challenges.
• Engineers will engage with a variety of technologies, including Python, Django, Ruby, Golang, GraphQL, REST, React, ReactNative, and Typescript.
• Responsibilities include writing clear, concise, and well-tested code, taking ownership of major initiatives, and assisting team members in problem-solving.
• The position emphasizes continual improvement, learning new technical skills, and delivering impactful code that enhances the user experience for small business owners.
• Engineers are expected to monitor and maintain systems post-launch and contribute to both back-end and front-end development as needed.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience with Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
• A strong interest in working on technical projects from inception to delivery is essential.
• Applicants should be able to operate and monitor highly available systems in production or be willing to learn quickly.
• Pride in writing testable, modular, maintainable, and well-documented code is required.
• Experience in web application and/or distributed systems development is necessary.
• Candidates should be comfortable using the terminal and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
