Description:

Kin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a Full Stack Focus to develop products and features that enhance the company's operations.
The role involves working in Ruby environments with Typescript front-ends and PostgreSQL, applying Scrum methodologies in product and software development.
Responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, leading pair programming sessions, mentoring junior engineers, driving design or architectural tasks, participating in daily stands and weekly retros, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The position requires a track record of shipping large, complex software projects and familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and located in Central or Eastern US time zones, as the company is unable to sponsor employment visas at this time.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a proven track record of shipping large, complex software projects.
Fluency in programming languages such as Typescript, Ruby, or Python is strongly preferred.
Experience with architectural design is required.
The candidate should be a fast learner, ready to leverage previous knowledge while continuing to develop.
Ability to articulate the value of technical investments and operate with some technical guidance is necessary.
Experience mentoring engineers is essential.
Familiarity with front-end technologies and modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks is required.

Location in Central or Eastern US time zones is strongly preferred.
