Remote Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (LATAM - Terminal)

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will work on the Product Team at Qualified, focusing on developing innovative products and enhancing processes and technology.
• Responsibilities include building new features, improving existing ones, and creating new products, utilizing machine learning and AI technologies to enhance user experiences.
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to develop mission-critical applications.
• Conducting rapid prototyping and iterative development to improve AI solutions based on real-world performance and user feedback.
• Ensuring core functionality is stable, scalable, well-maintained, and continuously improving.
• Mentoring other engineers, setting engineering standards, and supporting highly-available services for customers' needs.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in professional full-stack software development.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, or Go, object-oriented programming, systems design, and large-scale, low-latency systems.
• Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, and data warehousing solutions.
• Strong software engineering practices including coding, unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English, passionate about crafting innovative solutions, and experienced in Agile methodologies.
