Description:
The Square Credit Card team offers sellers a business credit card based on their Square sales, providing competitive credit limits, interest rates, and zero fees.
Sellers can manage business expenses within Square, receive free processing rewards for every purchase, and get a sleek metal card personalized with their business name.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Square Credit Card Team, you will help expand access to the credit card for sellers and design features to set it apart from other cards.
Responsibilities include supporting initiatives to increase seller access, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build clean and well-tested software, overseeing feature development from design to maintenance, and partnering with various engineering teams.
You will work closely with designers, product managers, data scientists, and other developers to create elegant solutions that enhance the seller experience.
Ongoing training is provided to stay updated on BSA/AML regulations and perform related duties as required.
Requirements:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience is required.
Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in at least one server-side language with a willingness to learn others.
Strong ownership and execution skills focused on delivering exceptional solutions for sellers.
Passion for customer-focused environments and engineering excellence.
Experience in creating detailed technical documentation and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
