Description:

Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead and mentor engineers while delivering high-value products for customers and scalable infrastructure.
The role involves setting technical direction to enable product and infrastructure scalability, driving complex projects across the technical stack, and mentoring the engineering team.
The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and own new product functionality and infrastructure using modern frameworks and tooling such as TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
The position requires leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders to deliver significant business impact and contributing to building Vanta’s engineering culture.
Vanta's mission is to secure the internet and protect consumer data by continuously monitoring and verifying security, empowering companies to improve their security posture.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of industry experience.
Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects is required.
Previous startup experience or work in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action is necessary.
Experience working on greenfield projects is essential.
An interest in learning about security or prior experience in the security space is preferred.
