Foodsmart is a leading telenutrition and foodcare solution, supported by a network of Registered Dietitians.
The platform aims to promote healthier food choices and deliver long-term health outcomes for its 2.2 million members.
The Senior Fullstack Engineer will develop both the user-facing frontend and backend systems of the Foodsmart platform.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable web applications, creating efficient APIs, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
The role involves collaboration with UX/UI designers, product teams, and both frontend and backend teams.
The engineer will also define development practices, debug issues, and optimize system performance and security.
Staying updated on emerging technologies and proposing their application in development is also part of the role.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in full-stack development, particularly with React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Strong experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Deep knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB).
Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, RDS, S3, SNS, and EC2 is required.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure is necessary.
Experience with low-code platforms like Retool is a plus.
A BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Strong skills in modern frontend engineering practices, accessibility, and responsive design are essential.
The candidate should be a collaborative team player with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

The position offers a salary range of $145,000 to $180,000 per year, along with equity and benefits.
