Description:

The company is seeking a Fullstack Senior Software Engineer to help modernize the MyCase Product, which is a legal practice management software used by thousands of legal professionals.
The role involves designing and implementing scalable applications using modern web application frameworks such as Rails, React, Node, and NextJS.
Responsibilities include utilizing and maintaining reusable component libraries, collaborating with product teams, modernizing web applications, mentoring software engineers, and working closely with UX teams.
The engineer will support software deployments, partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, lead team ceremonies, drive technology initiatives, and provide technical expertise to the engineering group.
Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies is also a key part of the role.
Requirements:
A BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and debugging large-scale, cloud-based solutions.
Extensive experience in building production-grade React applications, including developing reusable components and optimizing front-end performance is necessary.
Professional experience with Ruby on Rails, including the ability to develop and maintain APIs and backend functionality is required.
Experience with Lean product development and Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban is essential.
A strong understanding of SOLID design principles and software design patterns is needed.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL is required.
Excellent teamwork, documentation, and communication skills are essential.
