Description:

Vendelux is a Series A SaaS company that helps companies discover the best events for marketing purposes.
The company provides a software platform that offers proprietary insights to help high-growth companies find the highest ROI events, conferences, and trade shows.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will shape the technical strategy for Vendelux's products and systems.
You will be the technical owner for features end-to-end, including the systems that power the data platforms and web applications.
Your responsibilities include shipping high-quality, secure, and well-tested software that scales as highly distributed systems.
You will solve challenging technical problems and coordinate technical roadmap deliveries across the product team and front-end engineers.
Collaboration with operations and revenue teams, as well as users, is essential to respond to feedback and plan feature delivery.
You will identify opportunities to work across the stack and help meet the needs of a quickly scaling business.
Working closely with the leadership team to define the product roadmap and continuously improve development processes is expected.
You will mentor a growing team of engineers through pair programming and code reviews, focusing on scalable engineering principles.

Requirements:

A minimum of 8 years of experience building complex applications using a modern programming language, such as Java or Typescript.
A proven track record of shaping and shipping valuable features.
Experience in driving high-leverage improvements to infrastructure and processes.
Strong judgment to manage technical debt and risk appropriately.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in writing.
Previous startup experience is a nice-to-have.
Experience or a deep interest in DevOps or platform/infrastructure is also a plus.
