Description:

Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead and mentor engineers while delivering high-value products for customers and scalable infrastructure.
The role involves setting technical direction to enable product and infrastructure scalability, driving complex projects across the technical stack, and mentoring the engineering team.
The Senior Software Engineer will work on enterprise-grade products within the Trust organization, which owns three AI-powered products to streamline the security review process.
Responsibilities include leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders, supporting design reviews, developing and launching greenfield products, and driving initiatives to enhance operational posture and execution quality.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 8 years of industry experience.
A strong product mindset and previous experience in product engineering or on greenfield projects are required.
Experience in shipping enterprise products and playing technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects is necessary.
Previous startup experience or work in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action is preferred.
Familiarity with TypeScript is required.
An interest in learning about security or prior experience in the security space is essential.
Candidates should be able to work collaboratively with talented engineers to make a significant impact on customer security.
