Description:

Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team, focusing on full-stack development within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) organization.
The role is remote and available for candidates in the U.S. and Canada.
The Senior Software Engineer will lead and mentor engineers, delivering high-value products and scalable infrastructure.
Responsibilities include setting technical direction, driving complex projects, and mentoring the engineering team.
The position requires leveraging past experience to support Vanta's rapid growth and product-market fit.
The GRC organization is responsible for developing and maintaining Vanta's core product offerings, aimed at supporting enterprise customers.
The engineer will work with modern frameworks and tooling such as TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of industry experience.
Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects is required.
Previous startup experience or work in an action-oriented environment is preferred.
Experience working on greenfield projects is necessary.
An interest in learning about security or prior experience in the security space is important.
