The studio is remote-first, with most team members working from various locations across the United States.
The primary responsibility of the Senior Software Engineer - Gameplay & Features is to collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to create compelling player experiences.
The role involves designing and implementing new in-game features and optimizing existing ones to enhance gameplay.
Key tasks include driving the architecture and implementation of engaging gameplay, supporting design and engineering efforts, establishing best practices, creating necessary tools and infrastructure, and monitoring live gameplay issues.
Requirements:

Applicants should have the ability to implement gameplay and features from the ground up.
Experience with modern mobile game design and architecture paradigms is necessary.
Candidates must be able to articulate technical ideas effectively across various communication types.
Experience modeling game states and implementing rules in client-server architectures is required.
A passion for playing and making great games is essential.
Experience developing Unity applications is necessary.
Nice to have: experience with persistent data schemas, server-authoritative multiplayer systems, mentoring other engineers, and familiarity with Git, .NET, and AWS.
