Remote Senior Software Engineer (Go/AWS)

Description:

• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs, contributing to the transition to microservices, optimizing database performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring engineers.
• The tech stack includes Go, AWS, Docker, Postgres, and Kafka, focusing on building high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of hands-on software development experience with strongly-typed languages such as Go, Java, or C.
• Proficiency in writing maintainable, high-quality, robust code is required.
• Experience in designing and developing microservices in cloud computing services like AWS, Azure, or GCP is necessary.
• Familiarity with SQL databases is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies are important.
• Knowledge of message queues (SQS, Kafka) and asynchronous processing patterns is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
