Description:

The Senior Software Engineer will support backend development of the digestive platform and various external data integrations.
The role involves close collaboration with the Data Science team to integrate AI into the patient-centered experience.
The backend services are primarily developed in Go and run in GKE or other GCP serverless frameworks.
The DevOps environment utilizes GitHub and Terraform, with various test frameworks including Cucumber for BDD.
This is a 3-month contract position that may be extended.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in building and implementing backend systems and supporting SaaS solutions.
Proficiency in Golang and experience with developing containerized workloads is required.
Experience in analyzing and optimizing system performance is necessary.
A passion for automated testing is essential.
Candidates should possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) frameworks is a bonus, including GKE, IAM, Firebase, and others.
Experience with medical, healthcare, or population health data is preferred, especially familiarity with OHDSI, FHIR, and other healthcare data standards.
Experience working in a HIPAA regulated environment or similar is a plus.
