Description:
This is a full-time remote position for a Senior Software Engineer in the Partner Data Sources squad at Grafana Labs, specifically for candidates in the Canadian Eastern time zones.
The role involves developing data sources that provide visual query editors and the mechanics to query and transform observability data for use in Grafana.
The Partner Data Sources squad collaborates closely with cloud service providers and independent software vendors to build these data sources.
The mission is to enable users to quickly see the value of Grafana by connecting to their data, while owning the deployment and operations of these data sources on Grafana Cloud.

Requirements:
Candidates must be comfortable working in a remote-first company and possess strong communication skills.
The ability to mentor team members, participate in design discussions, and collaborate respectfully is essential.
Experience managing external stakeholder relationships and balancing internal and external priorities is required.
Professional experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with Golang or a comparable programming language and be comfortable working on both backend and frontend code.
Experience in writing clean, robust, and maintainable software is required.
A strong understanding of DevOps principles and designing for team operations is expected.
An active interest in software observability is important.
Benefits:
The base compensation range for this role in Canada is CAD 146,409 - CAD 175,691, with actual compensation varying based on level, experience, and skillset.
