Remote Senior Software Engineer - Growth

• We are looking for a proactive and product-minded Growth Engineer to join our team.
• You will work closely with the Growth Product Lead and CTO to build, launch, and iterate on product experiences that drive the company’s growth.
• The ideal candidate is a data-driven full-stack developer who excels at rapid experimentation and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
• Responsibilities include full-stack development focused on user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• You will develop front-end interfaces using React and Tailwind CSS, as well as back-end services with Node.js, Express, and AWS.
• You will maintain and improve continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• You will design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests to drive key metrics such as signups, conversions, and referrals.
• Collaborating with product and data teams to integrate analytics tools, track performance, and identify growth opportunities is essential.
• You will use data insights to propose and prioritize experiments that enhance user engagement.
• Partnering with Product, Design, and Marketing to rapidly prototype and launch new ideas is a key responsibility.
• You will communicate progress, results, and blockers with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and timelines.
• Ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability across all growth-related products is crucial.
• You will monitor and optimize performance to deliver a smooth user experience.
• Utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools for seamless deployments, such as AWS Fargate, Docker, and GitHub Actions, is expected.
• Staying updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices for growth engineering is important.
• You will contribute ideas to enhance development tooling, documentation, and overall engineering culture.
• Actively seeking ways to increase team efficiency, code quality, and reduce technical debt is part of the role.

Requirements:

• You must have 6+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably in fast-paced startup environments.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express, and AWS or similar cloud infrastructure is required.
• Experience working with analytics and A/B testing frameworks, along with a solid understanding of metrics and KPIs for growth, is necessary.
• Strong collaboration skills are essential to effectively partner with cross-functional teams, including Design, Product, Data, and Marketing.
• Excellent communication skills are required; you should be able to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A growth mindset with a relentless focus on improvement and experimentation is important.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Docker, and GitHub Actions is expected.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Storybook, as well as project management software like Linear, Notion, and Slack, is a plus.
• You must be able to operate independently in a remote-first environment, taking ownership of your work and driving it to completion.
