Description:

  • As a Senior Software Engineer in the Help & Support Team at Square, you will be responsible for evolving support products for millions of merchants.
  • The role involves leveraging experimentation, personalization, and recommendation relevancy to ensure merchants are routed to the right help experiences at the right time.
  • You will work towards technical sustainability and scalability to benefit both merchants and Square teams.
  • Responsibilities include exposure to real business challenges, improving application architecture, testing, and build pipeline, optimizing the seller experience, and iterating rapidly on features and processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience is required for this position.
  • Proficiency in building web apps and large-scale applications is essential.
  • Ability to work with modern front-end and server-side technologies and frameworks.
  • Experience in developing product infrastructure and web services.
  • Collaborative skills to work with cross-disciplinary teams for optimal results.
