Description:

Kin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their CRM Integration (HubSpot) team, working remotely in a full-time capacity.
The role involves leading the design, development, and optimization of HubSpot integrations and related systems.
The engineer will utilize their understanding of HubSpot’s data model, APIs, and best practices to create solutions that unify sales, customer service, and marketing operations.
The position requires integrating HubSpot with Kin's core product, which is built on a Ruby on Rails environment with a Typescript front-end and PostgreSQL database.
Responsibilities include driving HubSpot integrations, establishing best practices, conducting pair programming sessions, providing architecture oversight, building scalable systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and offering subject matter expertise on HubSpot.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Proven expertise in HubSpot with hands-on experience integrating it into complex back-end systems is required, along with knowledge of HubSpot’s data model, APIs, and best practices; experience in a B2C company model is preferred.
Proficiency in coding with Ruby on Rails or a comparable back-end framework is necessary, with a willingness to apply these skills to HubSpot-centric projects.
A strong understanding of SQL and RDBMS is required, with exposure to NoSQL being a plus.
Experience in designing and implementing scalable, API-first systems is essential.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures is preferred.
Candidates should be able to articulate the value of technical investments and operate with minimal guidance.
Experience in mentoring engineers and leading small projects is required.
Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment is necessary, along with being a fast learner ready to develop further.
