Description:

  • Join the Canvas Logic & Execution team at Braze to revolutionize how brands connect with their customers.
  • As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and performant components for the Canvas platform, impacting millions of users worldwide.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to solve complex technical challenges in distributed systems and large-scale data processing.
  • Build user-facing features and supporting infrastructure for billions of asynchronous jobs and tens of billions of queries on MongoDB and Redis.
  • Own projects from design through testing and deployment in an agile environment.

Requirements:

  • You must have 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on building scalable web applications.
  • Expertise in back-end technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Golang, Java, and Python is required.
  • You should be an experienced technical leader with a track record of driving architectural decisions and contributing to technical strategy.
  • A solid foundation in design patterns, data structures, and algorithms is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with experience working in a team.
  • You need to be a self-starter with great communication and organizational skills who has worked in a team environment before.
  • Bonus points for professional experience building software at scale, handling high volumes of data and traffic, and experience with Ruby on Rails, Java, MongoDB, microservice architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with agile processes and a passion for user experience and building intuitive and engaging user interfaces are also advantageous.
