Description:

Braze is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Channels team, which focuses on building and scaling core messaging channels such as Push and Webhooks.
The role involves working on message definition, composition, journey-building, and analytics, including developing a feature-rich dashboard for customers.
Responsibilities include building new features, improving performance, and guiding key architectural decisions.
The position offers the opportunity to tackle significant engineering challenges, such as architecting new iterations of critical components and optimizing systems for resilience as they scale.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
A strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms is required.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills and have experience working in a team environment.
Bonus qualifications include professional experience building software at scale and familiarity with Ruby, Go, TypeScript, JavaScript, MongoDB, Postgres, Ruby on Rails, or React.
Experience with agile processes is also a plus.
