Description:

Braze is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their IAM team, responsible for building and scaling core messaging channels, specifically in-app messages.
The team owns message definition, composition, journey-building, and analytics for in-app messages, including a feature-rich dashboard for message composition and a platform for processing IAM-related events at scale.
The IAM team is also responsible for Landing Pages, a new feature allowing customers to build websites that integrate with Braze’s messaging services.
As a senior engineer, you will build new features, improve performance, and guide key architectural decisions.
You will tackle significant engineering challenges, such as architecting new iterations of critical components and optimizing systems for resilience as they scale.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
Applicants should be experienced technical leaders with a strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms.
A self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills is required, along with prior experience in a team environment.
Bonus qualifications include professional experience building software at scale and familiarity with Ruby, Go, TypeScript, JavaScript, MongoDB, Postgres, Ruby on Rails, or React.
Experience with agile processes is also a plus.
