Description:

Braze is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their IAM team, which is responsible for building and scaling core messaging channels, specifically in-app messages.
The IAM team also owns cross-channel message building features and is responsible for message definition, composition, journey-building, and analytics for in-app messages.
The role involves building new features, improving performance, and providing guidance on key architectural decisions.
The engineer will tackle significant challenges, such as architecting new iterations of critical components and optimizing systems for resilience as they scale.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
A strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms is required.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills and have experience working in a team environment.
Bonus qualifications include professional experience building software at scale and familiarity with Ruby, Go, TypeScript, JavaScript, MongoDB, Postgres, Ruby on Rails, or React.
Experience with agile processes is also a plus.
