Description:

  • As a Senior Software Engineer I at Aledade, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and expanding the web application and data pipelines.
  • You will develop and implement scalable and performant solutions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers through thorough pull request reviews and be open to critical feedback on your work.
  • Embrace strategies that minimize risk by focusing on observability, alerting, metrics, high test coverage, and frequent releases to incrementally build value.

Requirements:

  • Hold a BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have 4+ years of experience building full-stack web applications in a cross-functional team.
  • Possess 3+ years of experience working with SQL or other database querying language on large multi-table data sets.
  • Demonstrate 2+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting, solving for short-term and long-term business value.
  • Have 2+ years of experience coaching other engineers.
  • Bonus points for experience with health-tech systems, building full-stack web applications in any language/framework, proficiency with CSS/HTML/Javascript and modern JavaScript frameworks, expertise in at least 1 server-side web technology, familiarity with relational database systems, experience with API design and development, knowledge of cloud-based technologies, containerization and orchestration technologies, continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, and security systems handling sensitive data.
