Description:
As a Senior Software Engineer I at Aledade, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and expanding the web application and data pipelines.
You will develop and implement scalable and performant solutions.
Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
Mentor and coach junior engineers through thorough pull request reviews and be open to critical feedback on your work.
Embrace strategies that minimize risk by focusing on observability, alerting, metrics, high test coverage, and frequent releases to incrementally build value.
Requirements:
Hold a BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Have 4+ years of experience building full-stack web applications in a cross-functional team.
Possess 3+ years of experience working with SQL or other database querying language on large multi-table data sets.
Demonstrate 2+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting, solving for short-term and long-term business value.
Have 2+ years of experience coaching other engineers.
Bonus points for experience with health-tech systems, building full-stack web applications in any language/framework, proficiency with CSS/HTML/Javascript and modern JavaScript frameworks, expertise in at least 1 server-side web technology, familiarity with relational database systems, experience with API design and development, knowledge of cloud-based technologies, containerization and orchestration technologies, continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, and security systems handling sensitive data.
