The Senior Software Engineer I - Front End will enhance the Design System and improve cross-team collaboration while supporting developers and designers.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining the Design System using ViewComponents, StimulusJS, and BEM CSS methodologies, ensuring website accessibility, creating performant code, and taking ownership of feature delivery from concept to production.

Requirements:

Candidates must have developed and shipped web applications using Ruby on Rails.
Experience with modern Rails Frontend technologies like Hotwire (Turbo and StimulusJS) is required.
An understanding of design principles and experience working with designers is necessary.
Candidates should be capable of taking on full features from concept to production with minimal supervision.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a web developer, including at least 2 years as a Senior Frontend developer, is required.
Fluency in JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5 is essential.
