The Senior Software Engineer I - Front End will enhance the Design System and improve cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining the Design System using ViewComponents, StimulusJS, and BEM CSS methodologies.
The role involves detecting interface patterns, ensuring website accessibility, creating performant and maintainable code, and improving tools and processes.
The engineer will take ownership of feature delivery from concept to production and write well-tested and well-architected code.

Requirements:

Candidates must have developed and shipped web applications using Ruby on Rails.
Experience with modern Rails Frontend technologies like Hotwire (Turbo and StimulusJS) is required.
An understanding of design principles and experience working with designers is necessary.
Candidates should be capable of taking on full features from concept to production with minimal supervision.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a web developer, including at least 2 years as a Senior Frontend developer, is required.
Fluency in JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5 is essential.
