Description:
Articulate is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join their Identity team.
The role involves working closely with a talented team of engineers and designers to build industry-leading products and solve complex problems.
Responsibilities include successfully delivering moderately complex, loosely scoped projects and independently identifying problems in products, technology, or processes.
The engineer will need to understand business objectives and use that knowledge to make informed decisions.
Clear communication of technical considerations with non-technical stakeholders is essential.
The role requires actively seeking mentorship opportunities to enhance team capability and redundancy.
The engineer will ensure the team’s technical strategy aligns with the company mission and strategy.
The position includes anchoring the team’s on-call rotation by assisting and guiding others during complicated incidents.
The work is primarily backend (80%) with some frontend (20%) responsibilities.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a software engineering environment.
Familiarity with job systems, event-based architecture, and AWS infrastructure is required.
A proven track record of implementing, shipping, and maintaining production software is necessary.
Applicants should have a history of collaborative, team-based work.
The ability to write clear, testable, and maintainable JavaScript is essential.
A history of being a technical leader is preferred.
Strong communication skills are required, with the ability to explain technical topics to both engineers and non-engineers.
Benefits:
The pay range for this position is between $133,700 and $200,500, depending on location and experience.
