The Ordering team is responsible for building and maintaining scanning software at the forefront of the IntraOral scanner industry.
The team's product is used daily by doctors and is crucial in the order journey through the Dandy supply chain system.
The team aims to reduce friction for doctors by making patient scanning faster and easier while cutting operational costs and building scalable systems to automate processes and improve product quality and delivery times.
The role involves working closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to build new features and products.
Responsibilities include owning problems end-to-end, considering user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics.
The position requires proactive identification and prioritization of improvements to team processes, codebases, and best practices.
The primary technologies used are Typescript, React, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working as a software engineer.
Experience with modern web tooling and frameworks such as TypeScript, React, Apollo, Storybook, and Webpack is required.
The ideal candidate should be self-directed and capable of operating autonomously to deliver scaled impact.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to hold themselves and the team to high standards.
Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are essential.
Bonus points for candidates with experience in Electron and Windows desktop application development.
